So, it's been a long long time since i've posted anything and I would like to start with my dear friend Aaron. I love this shot of him, it was taken whilst on a shoot I was doing for SID magazine. I guess this photo could portray everything and nothing at this particular time in his life...even so, he's a beauty.
finally we are no one

G to the A
It's been about four months now since i've looked at these images, I haven't seem to find the right time to gather them and work on them. I took these images over the summer of my grams A, and unfortunately my hasselblad was broken at the time and light leaked all over the place. So here I am, frustrated about light leaks and delighted to have this woman in my life and photographs of her. London can be a lonley place and even more lonley when you keep remembering all the beautiful moments you had in the past. She wanted photographs of her. G to the A (Grams to the Aitcheson), this is for you. I want to begin with a few black and white images that I took with the last few rolls of film I had...
I want to finish off with colour, where I pushed the film from 160 to 400 (along with light leaks and underexposure) you get this intimate, retro feel within her story. I wanted them to be exactly the way I shot them, no post-production...just as is. I hope to continue to build a series with my grams until she is looking above, down under.

Southend-on-Sea
I finally scanned in these photos taken with some of my ladies on a trip to Southend last May. My camera ended up in the water and this was the roll of film that they had to take out due to corrosion! It's always a fun adventure when out with the ladies.

NYC Blues
I recently vistited New York, not having been there for about 6 years now I was expecting it feel the same as I left it before. I didn't turn out that way and I'm glad it was different. It wasn't enthralling, but simply relaxing...just what I needed. I did meet a man who asked me why I looked so sad, and for a moment I felt it.
I did document my time there and here is one of my favourites from the many. The rest will be posted soon.

Dark Matter
These are some polaroids that I took about a year ago and love them so much that I wanted to properly edit them (clean them up) and share. The high contrast/mood/location work perfectly. It's strange but sometimes looking back at your work can inspire new work. She's a dark beauty.

Brixton
I've been living in Brixton now for the past couple of months, I found my old polaroid camera and bought some impossible polaroid film. I'm not a huge fan of the new polaroid film but I do like the unexpected outcomes. Here is what I have documented so far.
